When is Mother's Day?
Mother's Day is one of the biggest theme days in the world and is celebrated in a large number of countries, although the dates are different. In Sweden, Mother's Day is always celebrated on the last Sunday in May. This year, 2023, Mother's Day falls on May 28th. This is quite late in compared to most other countries. The reason for the late Swedish Mother's Day celebration is thought to be due to the availability of flowers.
