At Hotel Riverton, we are happy to help organise activities as a complement to a conference or meeting in Gothenburg. The activities are organised by our partners who are experts in creating fun and inspiring activities that will help your team come together.

Indoor activities

Escape Box ™

Pottering team well together under pressure? The team is structured and solution-oriented? Communicates team well with each other. It will be a cool spy hunting as secret agents for Perfect Intelligence.

On the track

We start the journey somewhere in the world and the challenge is to figure out where we are heading. Team spirit is important when the team's knowledge is put to the test, together you will answer the questions about our destinations.

Music quiz

Our quiz master will guide you through different categories in, from Pop to Rock, all in a good mix. You will compete in guessing intros, musical hymns, and movie themes! Divided in teams your knowledge is put to the test in a diverse quiz with music in focus. After the activity, the winning team is awarded and applauded.

Brain game

In this energetic, fun, and intense activity, teamwork will be important. Divided into teams, the task is to complete several missions, the more challenges accomplished, the higher the points. The challenges include problem-solving, riddles, and learning dance moves. It is important to share the knowledge in the group because everyone in the team must be able to show the solutions continuously during the activity. The more you learn, the more you earn!

Time is running out 

Time is running out is a fun and challenging competition where everyone can take part. The participants are divided into different groups and you will meet each other in different challenges. Each team will pick a teammate for each battle to meet the other team’s challengers. The team gets 60 seconds to manage the activity.

After each challenge, you will pick a new member of your team to carry out the next challenge. Concentration and focus are two very useful talents during this nerve-thrilling activity. May the best team win!

The conference mystery

To solve the mystery, you will compete in teams through different missions. Each mission won gives the teams a better chance of solving the final task and winning the competition. There are a variety of challenges awaiting, puzzles to be solved and tasks to be performed. (can be done outdoors)

Outdoor activities

Boat trips & fishing in the archipelago

Kastor boat Trips will give your group a unique experience of the northern archipelago in a genuine old fishing boat. See the seal colony, make a stop at the famous Vinga Lighthouse, troll for mackerel, or try your luck with the traps in a sea full of shellfish all year round. We can offer different packages with sightseeing tours of the archipelago or fishing and lunch in Gothenburg’s beautiful archipelago.

Duration: 2-3 hours, suitable for groups of up to 100 participants. 
 

Strömma cruises & sightseeing

Sail to the archipelago of Gothenburg on the beautiful M/SS S:t Erik built in 1881 or get a guided tour around the canals on Strömma´s sightseeing boat “Paddan”.

In winter, we recommend their Christmas Tour with hot mulled wine and traditional gingerbread cookies that will take you along the canals to the Christmas market at Liseberg Amusement Park.
 

Mission completed

With the use of a surfing tablet and a backpack, the teams will navigate to approximately 40 checkpoints, where the teams will face different tasks including logical thinking, tricky questions, and creative solutions. Some of the missions require taking photos or filming - everything to get the high points. But watch out for the forbidden zones, if you happen to walk into these the team will lose points.

The battle of the treasure

The battle begins with an auction where participants can bid on different objects that have an unknown value further on in the competition. A variety of activities will test the team's cooperation, team effort and clarify if they have bought the right items in the auction to help them along the way. With the help of clues won, the teams will now fight for the treasure.

The ultimate challenge

Challenge your colleagues in this competition where it is important to keep focus and fight hard. We start with the first round where the contestants will face challenges containing physical endurance, brainteasers, and perception of time. You need to work as a team to reach the finals. The winning team will be directly qualified for the final, whilst the rest will have to struggle in an elimination game. When the finalists have qualified, it is time for the last element and time has come to reveal who is the true champion of the company! (Within groups of over 30 people, there will be a winning team instead of one single winner). A change of clothes is recommended for this activity.

Marine multi competition

A fun competition where teams meet in different disciplines within a marine theme. Who can tie knots the quickest, place the beacons right, work together to get the message in a bottle the quickest, and so on.

Rush hour

Speed and a winning mentality is needed for this fun and rapid activity. Each team is equipped with a surfing tablet, the task is to get to the checkpoints that are marked on the tablet display. When entering the correct zone, a question, riddle or mission pops up. If the team can come up with the correct answer, the checkpoint will not be available for the other teams. After the activity, we gather and celebrate the winning team. A change of clothes and good shoes is recommended for this activity.

All for the Team

All for the Team is an exhilarating competition in three parts that initially challenges collective memory. After that, the teams compete in a series of sub-competitions where good communication and teamwork are crucial for the outcome. The activity concludes with a final where the fastest team to connect the clues emerges as the winner.

Cooperation and communication

Communication, trust, and goals are three characteristics that are of the highest importance throughout this competition which is focusing on team building. The instructor provides a problem and will give the teams the conditions of how to solve it. After completing the task the instructor will lead a conversation where the group will reflect on their work. The key is to cooperate, plan and implement their thoughts. The participants will be able to link the activity outcomes to their regular work environment.

Segway adventure ™ tours

Experience Gothenburg from a new perspective with Segway Adventure ™ tours. Glide with one of the experienced guides on a set route around the city and discover new places! Segway Adventure ™ Tours are fun for everyone and no previous experience is needed to learn to drive. (suitable in spring, summer, and early autumn).
