From the end of November through the Christmas holidays, Gothenburg’s streets are filled with Christmas markets, light installations, and sparkling decorations that create a unique ambiance, attracting both locals and visitors from near and far.
One of the most popular Christmas activities is visiting Liseberg's Christmas market. The amusement park turns into a glittering winter wonderland where you can stroll among thousands of lights, go ice skating, shop for handicrafts, and taste all the treats of the season. Here, you can also visit Santa in his cabin or experience fairytale winter scenes with snow-covered trees and decorative buildings.
